OUR STUDENTS
The students at P.S. 69Q receive a quality education filled with Enrichment activities. We offer The Arts and Music Programs that will engage your child with rich activities.
At PS69Q we provide our students with Enrichment activities. We have many activities from art to dance to coding and much more. Enrichment clusters are a time we set aside every Friday morning for 90 minutes when students choose what they will be studying from a menu of options. Students work in small groups of about 12 students with one teacher.
Grade 2 students select a topic based on the magnet theme each year. The Magnet themes are Africa, Asia and The Americas. Each year the children will explore the Magnet theme in their Enrichment clusters.

Grade 4 and 5 students choose a cluster that is based on a subject that interests them. Each year they explore their topic between
eight to ten weeks.

while having fun!

PS69Q works with City Lore and Casa to bring art and music to our students. We are a Magnet school which focuses on Africa, Asia and The Americas.We collaborate with our teaching artists to support our
Magnet Theme.
Jazz At Lincoln Center - JALC October 2022
PS 69Q was thrilled to welcome back to our school our fabulous arts partner, Jazz At Lincoln Center., on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Our students were treated to a live concert by a quartet of musicians who shared their knowledge and jazz musical talents with our Grade 4 students. Our students also learned about legendary jazz icon Ella Fitzgerald. We can't wait for the next visit of JALC's Jazz for Young Peoplein January 2023!
