Here is a list of resources that your child has access to during the Summer.

They are organized by subject.  All you have to do is click on the links. 

Students should log into TeachHub. Through TeachHub and Clever, your child has access to many websites/apps approved by NYC. 



All families who had signed up for Remote Student Access through an invitation from their teacher will be able to enjoy a brand-new service, Epic Free, which includes 2 hours of free reading per week in a limited library of high-quality, educational books.

New York Public Library


If you don’t have an NYPL library card, NYresidents can apply for a digital card through the Library’s SimplyE app. Once you’ve received your barcode and PIN, explore SimplyE to discover hundreds of thousands of e-books, plus visit our website to find many more digital resources. Borrow E-Books and Audiobooks. This app has been uploaded to all iPads issued by the Department of Education.


Get free online homework help from one-on-one tutors, daily from 2–11 PM. Available in English and Spanish.  You will need to use your NY Public Library Card for access.

Get creative and express yourself all summer long at The New York Public Library with free events for all ages, programs for kids and teens, reading recommendations, exhibitions, and much more!


Khan Academy

Math topics by grade.  Personalized learning in math.  Students practice at their own pace, first filling in gaps in their understanding and then accelerating their learning.


Math and Games for Kids, Teachers and Parents. Math lessons and fun games for kindergarten to sixth grade, plus quizzes, brain teasers and more.

Multi-Subject Websites


Online educational games for kids of all ages. (math, grammar, science, spelling, history).

PBS kids

A variety of educational games, videos and activities.

Let's Learn NYC

Through lessons taped by educators, children can learn foundational reading and writing skills, literacy, math, science, social studies and the arts. The series also supports social emotional learning and brings viewers on virtual field trips to see dance performances, meet animals, visit botanical gardens and more. Watch an introductory video.
